Fiona thoroughly enjoys a collaborative approach to commissions. She is more than happy to involve her clients in the process which inevitably evolves what she is otherwise working on herself.

“People will have ideas that can really technically challenge me; I love that. They have a vision, maybe not a specific vision, but they’ve got a feel for what they want the piece to be about. I like to be able to manifest that for them.”

If you would like to talk to Fiona about a personally symbolic piece, she would be only too happy to hear from you.

“I feel privileged to have worked with this top artist on a commissioned piece. This included a detailed discussion on personal elements which were impeccably translated into a magnificent work of art. Fiona skillfully incorporated media which we had provided but not expected to be used, to great effect, indicating a genuine insight and sensitivity to personal features. I am utterly delighted with the result.” -Kate

“Fiona’s creative talents are of the highest calibre and to be envied. Her commissioned pieces capture the essence of her clients with excellent results given.” – Lyn

“Thank you but you know we wouldn’t keep on reaching out if we weren’t sure that the end result would not be anything but amazing. I enjoyed the process both times and the results speak for themselves.”- Mark

” I think of you often as I look at your work that has travelled to the other side of the world – to Taiwan then to Beijing no less. I still get that same feeling when looking at it as I did when I first laid eyes on it through the gallery window in Ohope beach. It plays an essential role in the story of my life and connection to New Zealand. I am ever so proud of my modest art collection.” – Verity Mackintosh

“WOW WOW WOW!!!  It is gorgeous. Thank you so much. The only thing better would be to have you here. We are both blown away by the beauty and the art. We just love looking at the detail of the feathers and then standing back to take in the entire piece.” – Mary & Mark
